Trains to Lelant

A particularly scenic Cornwall stop, Lelant train station serves the village of Lelant on the waterfront of the Hayle estuary with Great Western Railway services operating on the St Ives Bay Line on request. Most of the trains on the St Ives Bay Line are not scheduled to stop at Lelant. However, some trains will stop by request only, so passengers wishing to board should signal clearly to the driver from the platform (raising one arm as if for a bus).

Facilities at Lelant Station are limited, but there's a small car park available for passenger use just adjacent to the single platform. As there are no ticketing provisions, passengers wishing to travel from the station should take care to purchase tickets for travel ahead of time or on board the train from a guard. Those awaiting trains may rest on the open-air or sheltered seating installed on the platform.
