Trains to Langley

Langley is an eastern suburb of Slough, and also known as Langley Marish - and like Slough it's a busy commuter town, just twenty miles outside Greater London. Its station, built in 1845, sits on the original line of the Great Western Railway and operates regular half-hourly services to both London Paddington and Oxford. It is set to see an increase in passenger numbers from 2018, with plans afoot for a new rail tunnel that will linking the station with Heathrow airport. It is also set for inclusion on the forthcoming Crossrail line. Langley, the most easterly town in the county of Berkshire, is noted for the 17th century architecture that dominates the area. The town is peppered with historic almshouses, alongside the Grade I-listed Church of St. Mary the Virgin and Langley Hall. It's a great place for bargain hunters too, with many discount stores and well-stocked charity shops scattered throughout the town centre.
