Trains to Kirkdale

A critical interchange between rail branches, Kirkdale Railway Station serves the Kirkdale district of Liverpool with regular Merseyrail services on the Northern Line. Trains from Kirkdale run every fifteen minutes during weekday daytimes, with northbound services from platform 2 running to Kirkby or Ormskirk and southbound services from platform 1 with slightly greater frequency to Liverpool Central. In the evenings and on Sundays, northbound services are half-hourly and trains to Liverpool are quarter-hourly.
