Lying on the Walton branch of the Sunshine Coast Line, Kirby Cross Railway Station serves the village of Kirby Cross with trains provided by Abellio Greater Anglia. In typical off-peak hours, trains from Kirby Cross depart once an hour in both directions to Colchester and Walton-on-the-Naze. Additionally, during peak hours, some trains run to and from London Liverpool Street.
