Trains to Kirby Cross

Lying on the Walton branch of the Sunshine Coast Line, Kirby Cross Railway Station serves the village of Kirby Cross with trains provided by Abellio Greater Anglia. In typical off-peak hours, trains from Kirby Cross depart once an hour in both directions to Colchester and Walton-on-the-Naze. Additionally, during peak hours, some trains run to and from London Liverpool Street. 

A fairly quiet station, Kirby Cross has bicycle storage with room for 15 cycles. As there are no ticketing provisions at this station, passengers should take care to purchase tickets for travel from Kirby Cross ahead of time or on board from a guard. The old railway building is currently not in use, and the only facilities available for Kirby Cross passengers are basic waiting shelters with bench seating on platform 2. The station building on platform 1 is not currently in use. There is level access to platform 2 and access to platform 1 via barrow crossing. (
