Kintore railway station opened on 15th October 2020 and offers a frequent and fast service to Aberdeen, with the hourly services taking just 19 minutes.
Historically there had been a station at Kintore, which was located around 600 yards from the current station but closed in 1964. With a nod to its past, Kintore station features a number of restored historical features including the former station benches restored by Inverurie Men's Shed and the original signal box signage donated by a local farmer.
