Kentish Town is a National Rail and London Underground station in the London Borough of Camden, within Zone 2. Serving the suburb of Kentish Town, it lies on the Northern Line between Camden Town and Tufnell Park on the Underground, and West Hampstead and St Pancras International on the main line. The station is made up of four National Rail platforms and two for the London Underground, and is the only one in the near vicinity with a direct interchange between the two. National Rail services run to Luton in the north and Sutton, Orpington and Sevenoaks, via London St Pancras in the south. Just south of the station is Kentish Town Road - a.k.a. Kentish Town High Street - which is loved by locals for its wide range of independent shops. Close to Camden and with its own major venue in the shape of The Forum, Kentish Town is also a popular place for nightlife and live music.
