Trains to Kearsley (Manchester)

Northern manage all services and operations at Kearsley train station. When the station first opened in 1838, it was given the name Ringley it has since had three name changes including its current title.  The station sits on the Manchester to Southport Line and services are available to stations including Wigan North Western and Manchester Victoria. Monday to Friday an hourly service is available to Wigan North Western, the fastest journey time for this route is 28 minutes. The Saturday service for this route includes a bus journey. There is no Sunday service available from Kearsley train station.  

The station has two platforms connected via a subway. There are no ticketing facilities at the station any passengers travelling from the station must either purchase tickets in advance or once on board the train. Facilities for passengers at the station include shelters on both platforms, additional outdoor seating and help points on both platforms. The station is unmanned the closest manned station is Farnworth.
