Trains to Howden

Northern, TransPennine Express, and Hull trains all provide services that stop at Howden train station. From the station, passengers can head to destinations including York, Hull and Manchester Piccadilly. An hourly service is available from Monday to Saturday to York. Stops along this route include Selby, Sherburn-in-Elmet, and Church Fenton. Passengers can travel to Hull from Platform 2, a service that is available daily. The Sunday service for this route, however, is less frequent than the rest of the week.

Both entrances to the station are on Station Road. The two platforms are staggered due to a level crossing. There is no ticket office at Howden station. However, ticket machines (to purchase or collect tickets from) are available at the station. Passengers wishing to travel from Howden train station must either purchase their tickets in advance or once on board the train. Facilities at the station are limited due to it being unmanned. Both platforms have shelters for passengers awaiting their train service.
