Trains to Horwich Parkway

Horwich Parkway train station offers daily services to stations including Manchester Piccadilly, Blackpool North, and Bolton. Open since 1999 Horwich Parkway is the local station for Macron Stadium, the station can become very busy during home matches for Bolton Wanderers. In 2012 the station saw the added addition of a wind turbine, which now powers the station.  Two trains arrive per hour from Monday to Saturday en route to Manchester Piccadilly, stops along this route include Bolton, Salford Crescent, and Manchester Oxford Road. The weekend service for this route involves a bus journey and the journey time is longer. 

Horwich Parkway train station is step free, entrance to the station is via platform 1. A footbridge connects both platforms and ramps are available for wheelchair users. The station has a manned ticket office from Monday through to Saturday. Other facilities at the station include a waiting room, shelter, and additional outdoor seating. The station also offers a car park free to passengers travelling from Horwich Parkway.
