Trains to Haydon Bridge

Haydon Bridge Railway Station serves the village of Haydon Bridge, Northumberland, with regular Northern trains service on the Tyne Valley Line. Trains from Haydon Bridge depart ten times daily eastbound to Newcastle from platform 1 and eleven times westbound to Carlisle from platform 2. This makes approximately one departure every two hours each way. In peak times, services run more frequently. On Sundays, six trains travel eastbound from Haydon Bridge and five trains travel westbound. 

Haydon Bridge Railway Station has limited facilities. As the station lacks ticketing facilities, passengers wishing to travel from Haydon Bridge should purchase their tickets in advance or on the train form a conductor. Both platforms have waiting shelters with seating; platform 1 has additional bench seating, and there is cycle storage available on platform 2. Train running information is supplied on timetable poster boards and by telephone dial-in from the payphone located on platform 2. Step-free access is available throughout the station.
