Trains to Grimsby Town

Grimsby Town train station serves Grimsby town centre with regular Northern trains operating on the Barton Line. There are Saturday services by Northern on the Sheffield-Cleethorpes Line, while East Midlands Railway operate on the Newark-Grimsby route, and TransPennine Express services operate on the South Humberside Main Line. On weekdays, TransPennine Express trains run on an hourly basis between Cleethorpes and Manchester Airport via Sheffield and Piccadilly. Northern trains from Grimsby Town run on the Cleethorpes to Barton-On-Humber Line every two hours, and East Midlands Railway services to Lincoln and Newark operate also every two hours. On Sundays, a two-hourly service runs to Manchester in the mornings with a change to hourly in the afternoon.

Grimsby Town Station has three platforms in use, two of which are sheltered with a roof. The ticket office at Grimsby Town is manned daily until mid-evening. A self-service ticket machine is also available by the station entrance for customer use. There are customer help points present on all platforms, and step-free access is available throughout the station. Refreshment and toilet facilities are both present in the station.
