Trains to Gowerton

Gowerton train station in Swansea has two platforms and is managed by Arriva Train Wales. The name has changed twice since it opened and it was originally called Gower Road and then Gowerton North before it was given its current name. Gowerton station serves the village of Gowerton in Wales and is an unstaffed station.Every hour, there are services running from Gowerton train station westbound towards Llanelli and eastbound towards Swansea. Many eastbound services also run onwards to Cardiff and Manchester Piccadilly. Until September 2013, Gowerton station was a request stop.

Facilities are limited at this station with no ticket office, toilets or waiting rooms, but there is a ticket machine available and waiting shelters on both platforms. Step-free access is also available at this station. There is a hotel right outside Gowerton station, and a local school, a church and a football club all within walking distance. Gowerton Golf Range is also just a ten minute’s walk from the station.
