Trains to Glynde

Glynde train station sits on the East Coastway Line between Lewes and Berwick. Southern manage all services and operations at this station and offer daily services to the city of Brighton and the town of Eastbourne. The station is just a short walk away from Glynde Palace. This 16th-century palace is open to the public, with guided tours available. The off-peak service from Glynde to Brighton offers one train per hour throughout the week, some of which will require you to change at Berwick station. The seaside town of Eastbourne is around 20 minutes away from Glynde and trains arrive hourly from Monday to Sunday.

A footbridge connects the two platforms at the train station, and the former station building is now home to a Paragliding centre. There's a station car park available and ticket machines on both platforms. Shelters are located on both platforms for passengers awaiting their train service. Step-free access is available to platform 1 via ramp access, but there's no step-free access to platform 2.
