Trains to Glengarnock

Abellio ScotRail manages all operations at Glengarnock train station. Based on the Ayrshire Coast Line between Dalry and Lochwinnoch, there are daily services available to the city of Glasgow. This village train station is also used by commuters from the towns Beith and Kilbirnie. The station has been open since 1840 and was named Glengarnock and Kilbirnie this was later changed to its current name of Glengarnock train station. From Monday to Saturday three trains arrive per hour en route to Glasgow Central, this increases during the morning peak period, on Sundays, this service is available with one train arriving per hour.  

There are two entrances to Glengarnock train station, you can access platform 1 from Beith Road, and platform 2 from Kersland Road via the station car park. Facilities at this station include a ticket office, ticket machine, shelters on both platforms and a free car park for passengers travelling from this station.
