Glazebrook train station is located on the Manchester to Liverpool Line between Bircham and Irlam stations. Other stops on this line include Warrington Central, Liverpool South Parkway and Trafford Park.

Services from platform 1 run roughly every two hours towards Irlam and Manchester Oxford Road. The fastest journey time to Manchester Oxford Road is approximately 24 minutes. Services on platform 2 also run every two hours towards Liverpool lime street and Birchwood station. Evening services are in fact more frequent on this line with trains arriving hourly. There are some additional peak services, but no service is offered on Sundays. The station has a ticket office open from Monday to Sunday, however, the opening times are limited. There are no ticket machines in operation at Glazebrook train station. There's step-free access to platform 2 via the slope of the bridge, but platform 1 may require assistance as there is a curb upon entry to the station.
