Trains to Glaisdale

Northern manage all operations and services at Glaisdale train station. The village is located in North Yorkshire, and the station sits on the Esk Valley line with Lealholm and Egton either side. There are four services daily heading in each direction from Glaisdale train station. From Monday through to Sunday passengers at the station can head to the local town of Whitby, with the journey time being approximately 27 minutes. The fastest service to Middlesbrough from Glaisdale is approximately 1 hour 1 minute. Four services run daily, stopping at Battersby, Nunthorpe and James Cook University Hospital.

The station has two platforms, with shelters and benches available on both. Access to the station is via Carr Lane. There's also a free car park for passengers travelling from Glaisdale. A barrow crossing connects platform 1 and platform 2. There are no facilities at this station for passengers to purchase a ticket.
