Girvan train station is situated on the Glasgow South Western Line and serves the small seaside town of Girvan. Most services run between Ayr and Stranraer with some additional services running to Glasgow and Kilmarnock. The station and all passenger operations are managed by Abellio ScotRail.

There is a ticket office on site where passengers can purchase or collect pre-paid tickets. Please be aware that no electronic ticket machines available at this station. Toilets facilities are located on platform 1 and are only available during ticket office opening hours as they in the same building.
