Gilshochill train station is located in the district of Maryland, a short ten-minute train journey into the Glasgow centre. Services run half hourly in each direction from this stop. Trains departing from platform 1 head towards Glasgow Queens Station and trains departing from platform 2 head westerly terminating at Anniesland. On Sunday these services are reduced and run hourly.
When the station was opened in 1993 its was originally named Lambhill, however in 1998 this was changed to Gilshochill train station. There are no ticketing services at this train station, but electronic validators are available railcard passengers. Shelters with help points are located on each platform in the event assistance is needed. Please be aware that this station does not have step-free access. If you require step-free access, we recommend using the neighbouring station of Summerston as access is available on both platforms.
