Garscadden train station is located on the Argyle line between Scotstounhill and Yoker. Open since 1960, all operations at the station are managed by Abellio ScotRail. With two platforms, the station is accessible from both sides you can enter from Kirkton Avenue and Kinellar Drive. Getting to Glasgow Central from the station is quick and easy, there is a regular daily service that reaches the city in 19 minutes. From Monday to Saturday four trains arrive per hour at Garscadden train station en route to Dalmuir, this service is also available on Sundays there are two trains per hour.

Garscadden station has an Island style platform both tracks run either side of the platform. There is a ticket office open from Monday through to Saturday and shelter available both of these can be found on the platform. Departure screens and announcements are used to inform passengers departing from the station.
