Farningham train station is one of the stations located on the Chatham Main Line. It is situated between Swanley and Longfield. Built in 1860, this station was previously known as Farningham Road and Sutton-at-Hone. Farningham train station serves several villages within the county of Kent including Farningham, Sutton-at-Hone, and South Darenth. Platform 1 offers services daily to London Victoria, the fastest journey time taking 38 minutes. From platform 2 passengers can head to Ramsgate with two trains arriving per hour at peak times, a change at Meopham does have to be made to continue to Ramsgate.

The station has a ticket office that is manned from Monday to Friday from 06:10 till 10:30, and ticket machines are available at all hours.
