Eridge Railway Station serves the rural district surrounding Eridge in East Sussex with Southern trains services via the Uckfield Branch of the Oxted Line. In typical off-peak weekday conditions, trains from Eridge operate once an hour to London Bridge via Oxted and Uckfield respectively. Additionally, Spa Valley Railway heritage services operate between Eridge as a terminus and Tunbridge Wells West on select days.

As Eridge Station is quite close to the High Weald, it is very popular with walkers. Station facilities are good, including a station car park, bicycle parking protected by CCTV, a staffed ticket office with fully accessible self-service machines, payphones, post boxes, refreshment facilities, and toilets (located inside the station building on platform 1). Shelters with seating are present on both platforms. As the platforms are accessed via stairs, Eridge is not suitable for customers requiring step-free access. As Southern operates penalty fare stations, passengers should take care to purchase their tickets before boarding the train.
