Lying at a junction between the Tees Valley Line and the Northallerton-Eaglescliffe Line, Eaglescliffe Railway Station serves the town of Eaglescliffe in Stockton-on-Tees with regular Northern service. Trains from Eaglescliffe run twice hourly to Middlesbrough and Saltburn in the east and Darlington in the west. Every two hours, westbound trains extend to Bishop Auckland. Five Grand Central trains also call at Eaglescliffe along the Sunderland to London Kings Cross route. On Sundays, service becomes hourly to Darlington and Saltburn respectively, with two-hourly services to Bishop Auckland.
