Trains to Drumgelloch

Located in the east of Airdrie, Drumgelloch Railway Station serves the North Lanarkshire town with regular service provided by Abellio ScotRail along the North Clyde Line. Basic off-peak services see trains from Drumgelloch depart twice an hour to Helensburgh Central to and from Edinburgh Waverly, as well as Milngavie (also to and from Edinburgh Waverly). In evenings, trains run only to Helensburgh Central and Edinburgh; this service holds on Sundays.  

Located 600 yards from the site of the original station, Drumgelloch Station opened in 2010 as a replacement for the previous 1989 station—itself a replacement for a 19th-century station nearby. Station facilities at Drumgelloch include an ample car park, cycle storage, and full ticket provisions via self-service ticket machine. Step-free access is available throughout the station, and train running information is provided via departure screens and automated announcements. Waiting shelters and bench seating are present on both platforms.
