Trains to Drumchapel

Drumchapel train station serves the Drumchapel area of Glasgow with regular Abellio ScotRail service along the Argyle and North Clyde lines. Mondays through Saturday trains from Drumchapel bound for both Balloch and Airdrie depart every 30 minutes on the North Clyde line. On the Argyle Line, two trains per hour call between Dalmuir and Glasgow Central, often originating at Motherwell or Whifflet northbound and running southbound to Larkhall. On Sundays, services are half-hourly to Edinburgh via Airdrie and Helensburgh Central.

Drumchapel Station facilities include a small car park, cycle stands, and a ticket office manned during operating hours. Self-service ticket machines are present for customer use at the station. Departure and arrival screens and automated announcements provide train-running information throughout the day. There are waiting rooms available for customer use, along with seating. Step-free access is available to platform 1 and the ticket office, but platform 2 is accessed by stepped path only.
