Trains to Dove Holes

Dove Holes Railway Station serves the village of Dove Holes in Derbyshire with regular Northern trains along the Manchester Piccadilly-Buxton line. Trains operate on a regular but sparse basis, with one train running in each direction approximately every two hours throughout the week. Northbound trains from Dove Holes for Manchester Piccadilly depart from platform 2; southbound trains for Buxton depart from platform 1. On Sundays, service frequency remains two-hourly; additional services pass through Dove Holes, but do not call. 

An unmanned halt, Dove Holes Station has no ticketing provisions, requiring passengers to purchase their tickets ahead of time or from a ticket agent on board the train. Dove Holes has no permanent station buildings, although waiting shelters and basic bench seating are available on both platforms. Additionally, payphones are provided for customer use. A carpark with cycle storage is located to the rear of platform 1. This station has level access via ramp.
