A little further -20 minutes on foot - is The Lanes shopping centre at Wylde Green while the green spaces of Pype Hayes Park are 25 minutes away.

The train timetable at Chester Road is a busy one with 6 trains per hour to Birmingham New Street and some destinations further south. The 57-minute train rides to Redditch run 3 times per hour while northbound trains to Lichfield – 28 minutes away – run every 30 minutes.
