Trains to Carshalton Beeches

Carshalton Beeches train station is operated by Southern. It is situated in the London Borough of Sutton in Travelcard Zone 5 and is one of two railways stations serving the town of Carshalton. It opened as Beeches Halt in 1906 and was served by steam rail motors which ran to West Croydon and Epsom Downs. In 2010 and 2012, improvement works added electronic ticket barriers and disabled access to platform one, which also has toilets and a waiting room. Platform two is only accessible via a footbridge and steps.  

The station itself is located less than a mile from Carshalton’s Oaks Park, a scenic public park which was originally laid out in the 1770s. The park today has a golf course, crafts centre and café, and a bridle and cycle path for visitors to enjoy. Carshalton Beeches train station has a typical off-peak service of twelve trains per hour, with direct services to London, Sutton and Epsom. The fastest journey times for these stations are 32 minutes to London Bridge, 3 minutes to Sutton and 14 minutes to Epsom.
