Trains to Carshalton

Carshalton train station serves the London suburb of Carshalton in the Borough of Sutton. The station lies on the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway line between Peckham Rye and Sutton, within London Travelcard Zone 6. The station operates frequent services to London Victoria, London Blackfriars and Sutton, as well as running non-stop services to Luton to the north and Horsham to the south. The small network of streets within Carshalton Village are home to a vibrant shopping area, with many independent retailers, art galleries, cafes and award-winning pubs and restaurants. Despite its relatively urban location, Carshalton is surrounded by many areas of natural beauty. As well as Carshalton Park, Groves Park and Oak Park, all within walking distance of the station, Carshalton is home to the Sutton Ecology Centre, a Grade I listed Site of Importance for Nature Conservation.

Carshalton's sparse station concourse contains only a staffed ticketing window and ticket barrier offering access to platform 2. Automated ticket services can be found outside of the main station building, along with secure bike storage and a taxi rank. A subway connects both platforms, with platform 1 housing two small waiting rooms and female toilet facilities, and platform 2 home to bench seating, a customer help point and male toilet facilities.
