Arriving by train to Camberley brings you right into the centre of this town at the western edge of Surrey. Just the other side of Pembroke Broadway from the station is the mainly pedestrianised centre, with The Mall and Atrium packed with shops, restaurants and cafes. Other entertainment includes a multiscreen cinema, bowling alley and children's indoor play centre. On the other side of the town centre, off Knoll Road, are the library and Camberley Theatre. Camberley is also the nearest station for the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Camberley station is on the Ascot to Guildford line, with half hourly trains in either direction. Most of the time, passengers have to change at either Ascot or Ash Vale to transfer to or from London trains, but at peak times, there are through services to and from London Waterloo: three in the morning and two in the evening.
