Trains to Burley Park

Burley Park train station is a busy commuter line in Leeds. It serves the Burley and Hyde Park areas with train services on the Harrogate Line. Train journeys from Burley park station into Leeds take 8 minutes and leave every half hour during the days, and hourly into the evening. Alternate trains in the other direction travel directly to York, though it is generally quicker for passengers to travel into Leeds and board an express service. Burley Park train station is also near several main bus routes which provide local connections.  

Burley Park station opened in 1988. It has two platforms, both with ramped access and sheltered seating areas, and a small car park for passengers’ use. The station is generally unmanned, though station staff are sometimes available to sell tickets during rush hours, and to coincide with large events at the nearby Headingley stadium. Burley Park train station finds occasional TV fame in ITV’s Emmerdale, where it plays Hotten railway station.
