Trains to Brookmans Park

Opened in 1926, Brookmans Park train station is located in the village of the same name in Hertfordshire. It has four platforms in total, situated on two islands, but only two of these are in regular use. The ticket office window and ticket collection machine are both located near the entrance to the station and can be reached by a ramp. Access to all platforms is via steps and a footbridge.    

The village of Brookmans Park is known for its interesting local history. It is said to be the home of Miss Muffet (Miss Moffet) who was frightened by the spider in the nursery rhyme. It is also home to several landmarks including Folly Arch which once marked the entrance to the Gobions Estate, now a nature reserve and open space, and Brookmans Park Transmitting Station which had an important role in the development of early television broadcasting.  

Popular direct services from Brookmans Park connect to London Kings Cross or Moorgate, with journey times of 34 minutes and 39 minutes respectively, and Welwyn Garden City which can be reached in as little as 11 minutes. There are usually three trains per hour in each direction on weekdays and two per hour at weekends.
