Trains to Blackridge

Blackridge Railway Station serves the village of Blackridge in West Lothian with Abellio ScotRail services along the North Clyde Line. A relatively new station constructed in 2010 as a replacement for the original 1860s building, Blackridge today sees regular ScotRail trains on a basic half-hourly timetable, Mondays through Saturdays. Westbound trains from Blackridge depart every thirty minutes for Airdrie, Glasgow Queen Street, and Milngavie, while eastbound trains depart every thirty minutes for Bathgate and Edinburgh Waverly. During evenings, the westerly terminus is Helensburgh Central rather than the normal Milngavie. 

Station facilities at Blackridge include bicycle storage, a free carpark with accessible parking spaces in front of the station, accessible ticket machines and smartcard validators, customer help points, waiting shelters and bench seating on both platforms. Step-free access is available via long ramps to platforms 1 and 2. Departure and arrival screens display train running information; automated announcements are also provided.
