Trains to Bingham

Eight miles east of Nottingham, Bingham train station serves the market town of Bingham with East Midlands Trains services along the Nottingham-Skegness Line. A historic station first opened in 1850, Bingham saw frequent service that has been maintained to this day. Trains from Bingham run on an hourly basis, westbound towards Nottingham from platform 1 and eastbound towards Grantham, Skegness and Boston from platform 2.

Bingham station features an accessible carpark for customer use. Facilities are minimal at this station; each of the two platforms feature customer help points and waiting shelters. Level access is available to the westward platform 1 for Nottingham; the Grantham-bound platform 2 is only accessible by footbridge. Although vastly expanded since the 1950s, Bingham remains a historically fascinating locale with the remnants of a Roman fortress. Additionally, the town has a number of Grade-listed buildings, including the Grade I medieval parish Church of St Mary and All Saints.
