Bilbrook train station serves the village of Bilbrook and a portion of the larger village of Codsall. The station is managed by West Midlands Trains and is located primarily on Great Western Railway’s London Paddington to Birkenhead via Birmingham Snow Hill line. Typical service sees weekday West Midlands trains from Bilbrook depart once an hour in each direction between Birmingham New Street and Shrewsbury via Wolverhampton. Additionally, Arriva Trains Wales operates select services in the late evenings. On Sundays, service becomes two-hourly and is operated wholly by Arriva Trains Wales.

Known for its rather unusual staggered platform arrangement on either side of a road bridge, Bilbrook station is unstaffed. Self-service ticket machines are available at the station for customer use, and tickets purchased in advance may be obtained from the station ticket machines. Information is available from the help points located on both platforms. Both platforms have shelters and payphones and are accessible via step-free ramps.
