Trains to Bebington

Tucked in the town of Bebington on the Wirral Peninsula, Bebington train station serves the village with services along the Chester and Ellesmere Port branches of Merseyrail’s Wirral Line. Last refreshed in 2015, the station is fully modernised, with a staffed ticket office, platform CCTV, vending machines, toilets, departure screens and sheltered seating available to both platforms. Each platform has step-free access via long ramps and a carpark is located in the rear of the station.

Trains to Bebington operate every 15 minutes between Chester and Liverpool during the week, Monday through Saturday. During late evenings on weekdays and Sundays, service becomes half-hourly. An additional half-hourly service runs between Liverpool and Ellesmere Port throughout the day. Northbound trains terminate at Liverpool via Hamilton Square and the Mersey Railway Tunnel (Britain’s second oldest underwater railway tunnel after the 1869 Thames Tunnel). Southbound trains proceed to Hooton, where the Chester and Ellesmere Port lines divide.
