Bamford Station is located on Saltergate Lane, just off Station Road in Bamford Derbyshire. It is served by the Northern Railways Hope Valley Line which runs from Manchester Piccadilly to Sheffield. The station is located a five-minute walk away from the Swallowholme Camping and Caravan Park, and a ten-minute walk from Sickleholme Golf Club. The village of Bamford features a sculpture trail as well as a well dressing festival that occurs annually in mid-July.
