Trains to Baildon

Located two miles northeast of Shipley, Baildon train station serves the town of Baildon with frequent connections along the Wharfedale line. A single-platform station, Baildon is operated by Northern and sees daytime service during the week every half an hour to Bradford Forster Square and Ilkley. During the evenings and on Sundays, this service drops to hourly. Despite its location only ten miles away from Leeds, Baildon has no direct service to Leeds, as it is located on a curve between the Wharfedale and Airedale lines. Passengers for Leeds should change at Shipley.

Originally constructed with two platforms and a ticket office, the station is unstaffed today. Tickets should be purchased ahead of time or on the train from a ticket agent. As the line has been reduced to a single track, only one platform is in use. The second platform is overgrown and not suitable for passenger use at present. The station has step-free access.
