Tucked away in the north end of Loch Lomond, Ardlui Railway Station serves the remote, rural hamlet of Ardlui. 51 miles north of Glasgow Queen Street, the station is located on the on the West Highland Line. Monday through Saturday, ten trains to the north call at Ardlui—six to Oban, three to Mallaig, and one to Fort Williams on the Caledonian Sleeper. Seven trains from Ardlui continue southbound, with six services to Glasgow Queen Street and one to London Euston. On Sundays, one train calls on the way to Mallaig in winter and two in the summer, in addition to three trains to Oban; southbound, four trains continue to Glasgow Queen Street including the sleeper service to London Euston.
Ardlui Station has a single island platform, with southbound trains calling at platform 1 and northbound trains at platform 2. Ardlui Station is a request stop.
