Trains to Acocks Green

Acocks Green Railway Station serves the area of Acocks Green, just south of Birmingham. Built in 1852 to serve Great Western Railway's London-Birkenhead line and connect the local community to the industrialised city centre, the original Acocks Green station had 4 platforms serving both fast and slow lines. Today the station has been fully modernised, reducing the number of platforms to two along with a single island platform. Bike stands, car park access, a fully staffed ticket office and smart card validators are all available at Acocks Green station.

Trains to Acocks Green serve destinations all across the West Midlands. Chiltern Railways trains stop at Acocks Green along the London-Birmingham route, while West Midlands Railway trains call along their Leamington-Worcester line. Monday to Saturday, three trains per hour in each direction call at Acocks Green between Birmingham Snow Hill and Dorridge with one per hour each way on Sundays. Once an hour, a Dorridge-bound train continues to picturesque Stratford-upon-Avon and, in peak hours, Leamington Spa.
