Abererch train station is an unstaffed request stop on the scenic Cambrian Coast Line, which runs from Pwllheli in North Wales to Aberystwyth or Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury is a journey of 3 hours and 39 minutes from Abererch and Machynlleth is around 2 hours 15 minutes. Pwllheli is just a mile to the west.
The town is home to a small holiday park located next to the beautiful Abererch Sands, which extends along the coastline to join the busier Pwlleli beach. On a clear day the views along the Llyn Peninsula are stunning, from Harlech Castle in the east to St Tudwells in the west.
