More about the Bluebell Railway

The Bluebell Railway started operating in 1960, and now runs steam trains between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead, stopping at Horsted Keynes and Kingscote. Each train station is preserved in different times of history, from the Victorian age to the 1930s and 1950s.

During your visit, learn more about the history of the industrial age, get up close to a working steam locomotive, and step back in time on board Bluebell Railway’s vintage carriages while taking in the beautiful Sussex scenery around you.
