As work continues to modernise the railway's signalling system*, services on the East Coast Main Line will be significantly impacted on all dates from Saturday 17 to Tuesday 20 February.
Journeys to and from London will take considerably longer than normal and passengers are advised to check before they travel.
How will passenger services be affected on Saturday 17, Sunday 18, Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 February?
Great Northern and Thameslink
There will be no trains between:
Additionally, on Sunday 18 February only, there will be no trains between King's Cross and Stevenage, Royston and Peterborough.
An amended train service will run between:
Additionally, on Saturday 17th February, Thameslink services from Brighton and Horsham will run to/from London St Pancras. On Tuesday 19th and 20th, they will run to/from Finsbury Park and Brighton/Horsham.
An extremely limited rail replacement bus service will run between:
Additionally, on Sunday 18 February only, the following rail replacement services will run between:
Bus services will be extremely busy, you may have to queue and there is a possibility that you will not be able to board a service.
Grand Central
There will be no Grand Central services.
Hull Trains
Hull Trains will be running a reduced train service which will divert to run to and from London St Pancras International.
LNER
LNER will be operating a reduced service starting and terminating at Peterborough. Rail replacement coaches will run between Peterborough and Bedford, where customers can join EMR or Thameslink to London St Pancras.
Lumo
Lumo services will start and terminate at Peterborough, with rail replacement coaches to and from London King's Cross.
