Bristol Airport is in North Somerset, just 8 miles southwest of Bristol city centre. No trains run to the airport, and so many choose to take the bus which is much cheaper than taking a taxi or driving.
The airport is well connected by bus to many nearby locations, including Weston-Super-Mare, Cardiff, Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, and Bath. A convenient Airport Flyer shuttle bus service connects Weston-Super-Mare and Bristol City Centre to Bristol Airport. Other services include the Stagecoach Falcon from Taunton, Exeter, and Plymouth; the Bath Bus from Bath; and a National Express shuttle service from Cardiff via Newport.

If you’re travelling from further afield, National Express run direct services to Bristol Bus Station from many UK towns and cities. All National Express coaches are comfortable with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning on board.
All coaches stop at Bristol Airport, right next to the terminal building. If you have an early flight, there’s a Hampton by Hilton hotel only 250 metres walk from the airport.

Bristol Airport is Britain’s 5th largest airport and the largest in the South West of England and Wales. It, therefore, has plenty of shops and places to eat and drink.
The check-in and ticket desks are on the ground floor of the terminal building and the Departures Lounge is just upstairs. After security, you’ll find a duty free store and after that a selection of shops, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. These include Dixons Travel, JD Sports, Superdrug, and WHSmith for shopping, as well as a Burger King, Starbucks, and the Brunel Bar & Kitchen.
