How to get to Linate Airport by train

As there’s no direct train to Linate Airport, the best way to travel there is to get a train to nearby Milano Centrale train station, from where you can take a bus operated by Autostradale straight to the airport.

If you’re travelling from Lodi train station, take one of the regional trains operated by Trenitalia that go to Milano Centrale. There are 27 trains a day, with the first train departing at 05:40 and the last one at 23:23. The journey from Lodi to Milano Centrale lasts about 43 minutes.

You can also take a regional train from Monza train station and you’ll be in Milano Centrale in just 19 minutes. 41 trains run daily in both directions, with the first train leaving at 06:02 and the last one at 23:16.

As Linate Airport doesn’t have its own station within the building, the closest train station is Milano Centrale. Situated just 7.8 km away from the airport, this station is served by regular Trenitalia regional, Intercity and high-speed trains that connect Milan to the rest of the country.

Getting to Linate Airport by bus is quite an easy and convenient way to travel. The bus company Autostradale run 27 buses per day, so you’ll never be lost for ways to get there.
