As there’s no direct train to Ciampino Airport, the best way to travel there is via a regional train to nearby Ciampino train station, from where you can then take a Cotral or Schiaffini bus on to the airport.
If you’re travelling from Roma Termini, you can take one of the FL4 commuter trains that reach Ciampino station in just 15 minutes. These trains run every 15-20 minutes from 05:20 to 22:42 daily.
It’s also easy to travel to Ciampino train station from Napoli Centrale. The journey from Napoli Centrale to Ciampino takes around 1h 45m, with the first train departing from Naples at 05:10 and the last one at 20:07.
If you’re travelling from Florence, there are 40 daily trains from Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Ciampino Airport. The journey lasts about two hours, with the first train leaving at 05:45 and the last one at 20:38.

Situated just 5 km away from the airport, this station is served by regular Trenitalia regional trains. Other nearby train stations include Velletri, Albano Laziale, Frascati and Cassino.

Ciampino Airport offers unlimited free WiFi. It’s easy to connect to, simply select the network “Airport Free Wi-Fi” and follow the instructions to gain access.
You can find two banks in the Departures terminal – Gruppo Unicredit and Monte dei Paschi di Siena. Opening times for both banks are between 08:25 to 13:35 and 14:55 to 15:45, Monday to Friday. There’s also a Bureau de Change both in the Departures and Arrivals terminals (these are open every day from 08:00 to 21:00).
