Travelling by train to the Whitechapel Gallery is super-simple. The nearest railway station to the Whitechapel Gallery is London Liverpool Street, which is served by Greater Anglia, c2c and TfL services throughout the day. It takes 15 minutes to talk to the Whitechapel Gallery from the station. Leave Liverpool Street by following the ground floor exit towards Bishopgate's East, past platform 17 and cross the road using the pedestrian crossing. After crossing, turn left on Bishopsgate/A10 and carry on walking until you reach Brushfield St on your right and turn down this street for 2 mins until you reach Commerical St. Here, turn right and walk down Commerical St for 6 minutes until you reach Aldgate East underground exit and Whitechapel High St. Turn left at the end of the street, crossing the pedestrian crossing and walk for 2 minutes where the gallery will be on your left.
The Whitechapel Gallery is full of wonders for all to enjoy. You'll find it jam-packed with beautiful galleries, exhibitions, artist commissions and much more. The gallery also has a restaurant and bookshop and is open all year round, so there is always something to see.
