Tower Bridge is arguably London's most iconic bridge. Completed in 1894, it is a triumph of Victorian engineering - from its 65m-high towers to the hydraulic system that powers the opening and closing of the bridge. At night, it is beautifully illuminated by LED lights, making for quite a sight.

More about Tower Bridge

The bridge is open for the public to explore, with adult tickets costing £9.80. Cross the glass walkway between towers for panoramic views of London, some 42m above the Thames. You'll also find an interesting exhibition inside the Victorian Engine Rooms, adjacent to the South Tower, which relates the story of how this marvellous bridge came into existence. And, if you're still hungry for some London history, you can visit the Tower of London afterwards!
