Rockbourne Roman Villa is a fascinating Roman villa that's been carefully excavated, interpreted and displayed in the village of Rockbourne. This unique archaeological site and museum is in Hampshire, in the south of England. Several mosaics, underfloor heating structures and walls are still visible and there's a mocked-up Roman garden too.
It is a fair way from Salisbury to Rockbourne as it is a rural location - but taxis are available at the station and buses do run quite close.
