The Museum of Natural History houses the University's impressive scientific collections of geological and zoological specimens. The Museum itself is a Grade 1 listed building, renowned for its spectacular neo-Gothic architecture built between 1855 to 1860 and includes statues of Aristotle, Darwin, and Linnaeus.
Popular exhibits include the Oxfordshire dinosaurs, the dodo, whale skeletons suspended from the ceiling, an observation beehive, and the nesting swifts in the tower.
