Travelling by train to the Lakeside Arts Centre is super-simple. The nearest railway station to the Lakeside Arts Centre is Beeston, which is served by CrossCountry and East Midlands Railway services throughout the day. It's 35 minutes to the Lakeside Arts Centre on foot. Leave the station and walk along Station Road to the junction with Queens Road. Continue along Queens Road until you reach the junction with University Boulevard and turn right here and continue until you reach East Drive. Turn left here and you'll find Lakeside Arts Centre a little way up on your left-hand side.
Alternatively, you can catch a tram to Lakeside Arts Centre, keep on Station Road at the junction with Queens Road and head for the Beeston Centre Tram Stop. Services are every ten minutes and the tram stop for the University of Nottingham is right outside the campus.
The Lakeside Arts Centre is a university-run museum and arts centre hosting music, dance, theatre, exhibitions and workshops throughout the year that is suitable for all ages.
